Tokuden.
Japanese company Tokuden is based in Kyoto with a manufacturing plant in Makino. Tokuden produces induction-heated jacket rolls. These rolls use electrical induction to effectively heat themselves. The roll surface temperature profile can be controlled extremely precisely to within +/- 0.5 degrees Celsius enabling thermal processing with very high accuracy. Applications include synthetic fibre processing, converting, laminating, calendaring and Li Ion battery pressing.
