Formed in 2020 by Mark Twomey, Chartam Tech Limited is built on over 35 years experience in the paper industry.

Mark Twomey worked for over 30 years for a major paper machine and automation provider, starting out as a service engineer to the UK market, also working in the US for over 5 years in a service/sales support role, before moving back home to the UK, and based out of Ashford, Kent in a Sales manager role for over 16 years.

The opportunity arose to take on the principals and expand the offering and product support, with an aim to assist paper makers and engineers to get the best out of their machines.

The name Chartam comes from the latin word for paper.

Chartam Tech has acquired and developed excellent relationships with a portfolio of principals including Rochling, Runtech, Procemex, Paprima, Teufelberger, PR Rolls, Fabiny and Tokuden.

Chartam Tech has access to niche products not available economically from the big machine builders, providing the highest quality goods at the best value for money. We offer components with longer lifetimes, such as hard-wearing plastic and ceramic components
